Tuck It In My Tux is a sheer Ivory coloured polish from Essie with a jelly finish. This means that it is designed to be sheer, but will dry very shiny and have a squishy, jelly-like look to it. The colour is pretty and I did like how it looked on my nails. I used two coats and my nail line was still visible, but not overly so, however as this is a jelly polish this is not a flaw but rather the nature of the polish. It did dry quickly and shiny and I was happy with the end result, however the formula wasn't fantastic. It applied with bald patches, even when applying in thin layers with a steady hand. It looked slightly uneven on the nail, even with a ridge-filling base coat. The formula was also quite difficult to work with, as you really do need to use very thin coats to get a nice looking, non-patchy result. This is a good colour to wear at work or in a conservative environment, and it looks classy on the nail. While I would wear it again, I would definitely reach for other neutrals before this one.
