Directions:

Prep your nails and apply a base coat like Essie Treatment - First Base Base Coat
Brush on two coats of your favorite Essie nail color - make sure you allow the polish to dry in between coats.
Finish it off with a top coat like Essie Treatment - No Chips Ahead or Essie Treatment - Matte About You

Newer brush and green shade

I have the newer brush and green shade version of mint candy apple. The new paddle brush from essie makes application of this classic polish very easy.

It’s ok.

I like the color but I thought from the picture it would be more on the mint green shade, but it’s more of a baby blue. The brush is skinny and it takes like 3 coats to get the streaks . Cute color but would’ve preferred a greener tone.

I have the green version. The Essie brush sucks as always, but the formula for this is still solid. Not too streaky. Takes two coats to opacity for me and dries shiny.

Essie polishes have been VERY hit and miss for me over the years but this one is by far one of my absolute favourite polishes ever!! It is so beautiful; I wear it every spring/summer and I just cannot get enough of it. I think this is the only Essie polish I have that I would repurchase if I ran out of it. I find the formula to be quite good on this one (I find it to be pretty opaque after just one coat, but I ALWAYS apply two coats). I am not a fan of green polishes at all so I am surprised I like this one as much as I do but it is gorgeous! The perfect mint green in my opinion.
