This is such a perfect milky nude pink when at its fullest opacity...which is about 5 coats. I'm pretty sure this polish isn't meant to be opaque but more like a light wash of colour but how I wish this was opaque in a coat of two because it just complements my skin tone so nicely. I'm willing to work with it for now but don't bother repurchasing.

So very, very MEH. From Essie's Retro Revival 2016 Collection, Birthday Suit is a sheer nude polish with a streaky and bothersome formula. I really didn't like it at all. And I don't feel like such a blah color is worth the trouble it would take to make it look halfway decent. Might be useful for doing French manicures at home, but I'm sure there's a better version of this available out there.Wouldn't buy it again.

This is a lovely transparent polish that covers my nails in a rosy glossy film. I like it. The consistency of this polish is very liquid, so it glides on smoothly. The durability is good.

love the glazes/tints! they are so subtle and versatile; i can put on one coat and a clear coat, or i can deepen the color by going with two coats. it's nice that when my nails chip, they don't look like total crap. i like almost all the colors (the apricot one is just so-so).
