Best polish

I bought this set to use with the DND duo of gel and matching lacquer. The descriptions were confusing as to what the difference was among the different base and top coats and going to DND website didn't offer much hope. I thought this pricier set would be better. I have always used CND shellac base and top with their polishes, and some OPI color gels. Be careful with how much you put on brush of the base- it is VERY thin and will pool on the sides, impossible to get off. I use the tiniest amount on my brush. As with another review, putting the base coat on and in my LED lamp, the nails got so hot immediately!! The issue I found, and I don't know if the fault of base and top or the color itself, but within a few days the edges ( I always seal ) all started wearing off and some of my nails broke from it. It is not as thick a protective coating as the CND is. After one week I applied another coat of color and another top coat. I have CND LED lamp and I cured 90 sec. instead of my usual 60- will have to experiment in case that was the issue. I will see how long I will get now. I would like these to work as alot more economical than CND or OPI and the colors seem really nice. I haven't tried the color lacquer yet, but will use my regular OPI base and top coat for that.

This is the first time I've tried this brand of gel base and top coat. It goes on smoothly, however it pools on the sides so apply very sparingly. The first few seconds under the LED UV light all my nails were painfully burning. This occurred with the base coat and the top coat, but not as bad with the color coat. I've never experienced this scorching hot burning sensation with any other gel product.
