How to Apply BIAB™ in 6 Steps

Applying BIAB™ involves six simple steps to ensure a perfect finish. Follow these detailed instructions for a professional application:

1. Prep the Nail

Start by prepping the natural nail to ensure proper adhesion of the BIAB™. This involves cleansing the nail, pushing back cuticles, and removing any old polish or debris. Use our 100/180 Nail Buffer to lightly buff the surface of the nail, creating a rough texture for better product adhesion. Use our 220/240 Nail File to shape the free edge of the nail to the customer's desired shape.

Products to use:

• Towel
 Lint Free Wipes
• Cuticle Pusher
100/180 Nail Buffer

2. Apply Your First Layer of Builder Gel

Apply a thin layer of BIAB™ to the entire nail, use a small amount of gel and apply it evenly to avoid bulkiness. Cure under your nail lamp for 99 seconds on Low Heat Mode.

Products to use:

Clear BIAB™
• UV Nail Lamp

3. Apply Your Second Layer of Builder Gel

Once the first layer is cured, apply a second layer of BIAB™ to create an apex. Cure the nails in the lamp for 99 seconds on Low Heat Mode.

Products to use:

Teddy BIAB™
• UV Nail Lamp

4. Apply Your Third Layer of Builder Gel

For nails requiring extra strength or a desired thickness, apply a third layer of BIAB™. Ensure each layer is properly cured before proceeding to the next step.

Products to use:

Teddy BIAB™
 UV Nail Lamp

5. Refine Your Builder Gel Nails (Optional)

If needed, refine the BIAB™ overlay using a 120/180 Nail File or Buffer. This step is crucial for achieving a smooth, even surface before applying your chosentop coat. Be gentle to avoid removing too much product.

Products to use:

6. Apply Your Top Coat

Finish with a Top Coat to seal and protect the BIAB™. Choose from our Extreme Shine Top for a glossy finish, Matte Top Coat for a sleek look,  Rubber Top 2.0 for added durability or Glow Top for HEMA-free designs. Cure the Top Coat under your nail lamp for 60 seconds.
