DND has different collections and this is what we will be talking about today. We love how DND gives us the best of both worlds because they provide lacquer, gel, and even dip powder! They give us all the options we need. In fact, DND is the most used gel polish in America!
Let's start out with the famous collection DND DUO Set. They typically come in a clear and red plastic box. Each set includes a bottle of nail lacquer and gel polish. ( Matching set ). The white bottle is the gel polish. The clear bottle is the nail lacquer, and you can see the exact color you're getting. All DND bottles also have the name of the color printed on the cap. One of the great qualities about DND is that it provides a long lasting manicure up to 3 weeks. You only need 1-2 coats to get the perfect mani or pedi. Pair it with their famous DND top coat to get the best high shine gloss!
The DND DC Set is in a clear and hot pink plastic box. Each set contains a gel polish and nail lacquer of the same color. DND DC is the sister line of the duo set, not twins though! They have different colors and numbering systems for this collection. The bottles are gold and, also, it is .01 larger in size. The best thing about DND DC is it is premium with high-quality coverage and pigmentation.
The DND Diva epitomizes the pinnacle of sophistication and style in nail care. Designed for the modern individual who values both beauty and durability, DND Diva offers an exquisite range of vibrant colors and innovative formulas. Each product in the line ensures a flawless finish that lasts, perfect for anyone looking to make a bold statement with their nails. Two smaller collections within the DND DC collection are the Mermaid Collection and Platinum Collection! They both contain a variety of shimmery shades. At most, you would need 2 coats to achieve the perfect mani and pedi. They have all the glittery color you would need.
One of the most interesting collections from the DC line is the DND Mood Changing Collection! It is only available in gel. What is it you might ask? Well, It is exactly how it sounds. These unique formulas change color with temperature. If you're waiting for the color to change on its own, it might take a while. However, to speed up the process, try to running your hands under cold or hot water and watch the magic happen! You will see the change instantly. For all the dip powder lovers out there, try the DND DC Dip Powder Collection. Just like their nail polish, they have all the dip colors you would need at an affordable price. There are a variety of colors that work well with any skin tone. The color number is labeled on the cap.
Since DND has a lot of gel polishes, you will need a lamp for curing. They have their own UV/LED lamp. If you are new to the gel life, here's how it works. Unlike regular nail lacquer that dries naturally, gel polish needs to be cured with an LED or UV lamp. It will not dry on its own. You will be sitting there FOREVER waiting for your nails to dry. When I mean forever I literally mean forever. There are two types of lamps. LED lamps and UV lamps.
LED lamps use narrower UV rays to help cure the gel polish faster. They are more expensive and the bulbs last longer. It takes only 30 seconds to cure.
UV lamps produce a broad UV wavelength, so it takes longer to cure. They are affordable and work on all gel polishes. The UV lamps can take up to 2 minutes to cure.
DND has a theme of “the best of both worlds". We carry their LED/UV lamp, which means you get both all in one! It is so convenient! This lamp will last you a long time.
If you have not tried out DND yet, then what are you waiting for? We offer the brand at competitive prices in a variety of colors. If you have DND on your mani and pedi right now take a picture and tag us on our social and hashtag #GoBeyondTheBottle

Here's some FAQ about DND
How do I apply DND gel polish?
First, wash and prep your nails to remove any dirt, oil, or excess off of your nail beds. Next, apply 1-2 coats of DND or DC Base Gel and cure under a UV/LED lamp for 30-45 seconds. Then apply the first thin layer of gel color. Follow up by curing under a UV/LED lamp for 30-60 seconds. Repeat for 2-3 coats. Finally, apply DND or DC Top Coat and cure under a UV/LED lamp for 30-45 seconds. If not using a non-wipe (no cleanse) top coat, make sure to remove the sticky residue with alcohol. PRO TIP: make sure to hydrate your cuticles regularly to avoid chipping or peeling.
Why won't some gel color cure?
Some colors may not cure quickly depending on various factors of opacity and thickness. Colors like black of white may require a longer cure time in a LED lamp to prevent uncured gel from chipping or peeling after a gel manicure is done.
How do I remove DND gel polish?
First, loosen up the top gel layer by filing with a coarse nail file. Next, place a cotton ball soaked in acetone on each of your nails and wrap the tip of your finger in foil to hold the ball in place. Soak for 10-15 minutes. If the gel is flaking off, use a pusher to gently remove the remaining loose layer. If the gel is still intact, continue to wrap with the acetone soaked cotton ball for a longer period of time. Finally, rinse and moisturize your hands. To remove without foil, soak the whole nail bed in a bowl of acetone on top of a bowl of warm/hot water, and go through the steps mentioned above.
Can I use DND gel base and top coat with DC and vice versa?
Both DND and DC’s Base Gel and Top Gel can be used interchangeably. Both lines will keep gel manicures lasting up to 21 days of wear when applied properly.
What do the different numbers for the base & top coat mean?
DND Base Gel # 400 / DC Base Gel #800 - Typical gel base coat for any type of application.
DND Top Gel #500 / DC Top Gel #700 - Top coat gels that REQUIRES cleansing of the sticky top (inhibition layer) with alcohol.
DND Top Gel #600 / DC Top Gel #900 - Non-wipe (NO CLEANSE) top gels with no inhibition layer after curing that needs to be wiped with alcohol
Foil Gel Base - Specifically used for foil design application during a gel manicure.
